Ideas for the Vintage Porch

​It's time to get ready for Spring.  Let's start with a few ideas for the front porch.
1. Create a backdrop or focal point with weathered fences, bamboo or an old door.
2. An old window is repurposed to a shelf.  Perfect for small plants.
3. Mix textures, rod iron, chippy painted items, rusty metal and feathery plants make for an eclectic look.
​4. Galvanized buckets make great planters.
5.  Add vintage birdhouses in vibrant colors for a bit of fun.

Changing a few items to reflect the different seasons doesn't have to be expensive. 
​Visit thrift stores, flea markets and shop garage sales to find your items.  The possibilities are endless.
